Pastor Chris Durrant, on behalf of Howeth Road Evangelical Church – As a church, we remember Mabel with deep fondness.

As a member, Mabel had faithfully attended the various meetings of the church over many years, only latterly being unable to do so. And yet, even then, joining us on Zoom for the morning service week-by-week, even up until a week or two before she went into hospital in March.

She was faithfully serving as the church Treasurer, when I arrived 7 years ago, and continued to do so into her 90’s! Mabel was always upfront and to the point; and yet, always gracious with it. Her faithful service to the Lord in the church, was an example and encouragement.

We give thanks to God for her sincere faith in Jesus Christ, and that she has now gone to be with her Lord.
